Despite its length, the 30-foot pole weighs just 6.5 lbs, keeping fatigue low even during full-day jobs. Our 40 and 50 foot models are the same, weighing just 7.8lbs (40ft) or 9.9lbs (50ft). The pole’s telescoping design includes up to 10 adjustable sections and features our two point Anti-Spin Clamp System—locking each section in place to eliminate twist and instability. Safety-Enhanced Kevlar Lower Section

The lower section of the pole—the portion you hold during use—is reinforced with an added layer of DuPont™ Kevlar® that is woven directly into the carbon-fiber structure. This reinforcement provides the pole with extra strength, an additional layer of protection, and increased resistance to the accidental bumps and drops that commonly occur on job sites. The Kevlar layer also adds an extra measure of protection if the pole briefly and accidentally comes into contact with an electrical source, such as an overhead power line.

However, it is important to be completely clear: the primary material of the pole is carbon fiber, and carbon fiber conducts electricity. The Kevlar reinforcement does not make the pole safe for use near high-voltage lines or major electrical hazards. Always keep a safe distance from all electrical sources when using the poles.
